I am positively passionate about stress reduction because my life changed completely when I learned how to chill out.
I believe we are born complete and with the expectation that life is meant to be good.
It’s just that sometimes we get a little lost along the way when the demands and challenges of the world become too much. But we are always in there, just below the surface, waiting to be seen. When we can relax about things and be light about life, that’s when our real selves, hiding away, know that it’s safe and can come out.
I used to be an air hostess and my favourite part of the job was making the announcements. I really loved that part, likely because I’m a bit of a magpie. But I used to think (I swear I never said this out loud), when making the safety announcement, the bit about putting your oxygen mask on first before helping the child next to you, was honestly kind of selfish. What do you mean, help myself first? THEN help the other person? That’s horrible!
This question, unlike many of the great questions of our time, had a fairly obvious answer. It was on day 2 of air hostess training that the truth was revealed. As it turns out, if you don’t have enough oxygen, you pass out. And if you are passed out, who is going to help the kid next to you? Not you my friend, because you’ve gone to see the Sandman!
Isn’t life a bit like this as well? We can’t be there for anyone else if we are sleepy, exhausted, grumpy, sad, angry, moody, or short-tempered (the bad mood 7 dwarfs).
We’ve been conditioned to believe that it’s somehow selfish to put ourselves first.
However, when we put the needs of others ahead of our own, we harm not just ourselves, but anyone seated next to us.
The thing is, this planet needs more light than ever now.
I want you to rise up out of survival mode, so you can fall in love with yourself and your life.
When you feel good, you help others feel good too. And then they make other people feel good and before you know it, just by you being you, you’ve made the world a better place. I think that’s the opposite of selfish.
Quite recently, I lost my Dad to COVID-19. It was a turning point for me both personally and professionally. I thought of everyone else out there that lost so much too, and how powerful a tool hypnosis can be to help with stress and grief. Problem is, often hypnotherapy is confused with TV hypnosis, and it probably isn’t the first thing to come to mind when someone is struggling.
The truth is, hypnotherapy and hypnosis are more rooted in neuroscience than magic. I felt passionate about making hypnotherapy more acceptable and mainstream for people who need it, and I think we all need it right now.
I want you to see hypnosis as a vital and accessible wellness practice, and in doing so, change the way you look at your overall health and wellbeing.
I want to empower you to have the life you want and become the person you want to be.

My fear of enclosed spaces
I saw Judi to help me with several issues, in particular, my fear of enclosed spaces.
Judi put me at ease from the very first session and I like the way she explains about the brain and how hypnotherapy works.
I never imagined how much Judi’s sessions would help me and I have the added bonus of a recording I can listen to whenever I need to relax.
I have recommended Judi to lots of people I know.
Thank you so much, Judi, for what you’ve done for me.
